AELO - the team

The Swiss multimedia artist Lisa Maito created the character AELO. As producer she is responsible for the overall artistic conception of the AELO Show. She writes song lyrics and makes major contributions to the music as well. Since 2004 Lisa Maito has been developing and presenting this character by international 'Walking Acts' and photo productions.

The music was written by the film composer and music producer Rainer Serr (Munich). His language combined the pop songs into an exciting event for the audience. Rainer Serr has also been working for ECM Records and as a documentary film maker for the German TV station ARD.

As soloists the cellist Fried Dähn (Germany) and the saxophone player Bernd Detzel (Germany), have been playing at the recordings. Fried Dähn presented his spherical sound layers on tour with Frank Zappa and the Ensemble Modern, among others.

The picture world full of atmosphere was created by the visual artist 'Haegar’ (Germany) using photo and video projections. He worked for concerts and stage productions of the bands “De Phazz”, “Söhne Mannheims”, “A-HA“, “Sportfreunde Stiller“ und “Juli”.

The dance elements are put together to a sensitive and powerful modern dance by the choreographer Konstantin Tsakalidis (Germany). He has done the choreography for “Mercedes-Benz” premiere, “Sanyo Shows” and for film and TV productions.
